Exploring the DISH Network ViP722 HD DVR
August 27th, 2009 | by Admin |Currently, I am a cable subscriber; and they just raised their prices, again. I am looking into the possibility of getting a DISH Network ViP722™ HD DVR and DISH Network programming. The acronym, HD DVR, is short for high-definition, digital video recorder. The ViP722 model is their newest and supports two televisions; one is high-definition and one standard-definition.
Some of the features include: 350 hours of standard-definition and up to 55 hours of HD programming; HD and SD output is simultaneous; expanded storage capacity; the ability to view and record HD over air digital3; two satellite tuners, so that you can select from single or duel mode; and it supports Dolby® 5.1 surround sound. Of course, I don’t really need all of the special features; but it sure would be nice!
Here’s great site to compare most of the latest DVR’s like DISH Network ViP722 HD DVR.
